6.8.1 Installing the Backup Battery
If possible, do not turn off the power supply when replacing the battery. If you must turn off the
power supply, turn it off after power has been supplied for more than one minute. Replace the
battery within two minutes.

Procedure
1. Using a screwdriver or similar tool, open battery cover
2. Connect connector, and place battery so that battery terminal fits between
the two tabs
3. Insert battery cover from above
6.8.2 Setting the Battery Error Alarm
By setting system register no. 4 "Battery error indication" to "Enable", you turn on the battery
error alarm. Now, the ERROR/ALARM LED will flash, if the battery voltage drops. By default,
the battery error indication is disabled.

3. Double-click “Act on Error”
