8.3.2.

CCD Calibration

1. Preparation of the SD CARD

a. Format the SD card.
b. Put “PDME570C.elf” and “cal.txt” into the SD card on root directory.

c. Rewrite the content of “cal.txt” to "cal dnp".

2. Setting the DSC for calibration

a. Set the battery to the camera
b. Insert the SD card.

c. Press shutter button and power button at the same time continuously to enter into the CAL mode. (Fig.2-1)

d. Set the lens to the center of the light box's front side.

3. Execute the calibration

a. Press shutter button to start the calibration process.
b. The parameters will be saved automatically once the calibration process finish.

c. The LCD turns green and show ''OK” (Fig.2-2) if succeed, LCD turns red and show NG code if fail.

d. The camera turn off automatically, If succeed.
