Note:
Video Input Terminal 1 (VTR 1) and Video Input Terminal 2 (VTR
2) are not used for the Panasonic car navigation system (available in the
future).

Car Navigation Mode
Preparation:
Specify the correct terminal that is connect-
ed to the car navigation system in the “INPUT/OUTPUT”
operation on the “
User Settings
”. (

to change to the car naviga-
tion mode.
Press
[NAVI]
(NAVIGATION)
again to cancel.
This function allows a parallel operation. While you follow
the Navigation Screen, you can listen to radio, CD Changer,
Video CD Changer, TV and VTR1/VTR2 mode in back-
ground.
Notes:
¡
If the navigation mode is ON, only the audio signal is
switched while the video signal remains as it is.
¡
The mode can be changed even when the display unit is in
the retracted position.
¡
The volume of the voice guidance from the car navigation
system can be set. (

Connecting with Panasonic Car Navigation System
(available in the future)...
Connect a
Panasonic car navigation system
to
RGB
connector.
You can view the images and listen to the sounds from the
connected external devices in the VTR1 mode and VTR2
mode respectively.
WARNING:
When you connect external devices to Video Input Terminal 1 (VTR 1)/Video Input Terminal 2 (VTR 2),
it is strictly prohibited to play or watch Video/DVD/TV-game or other visual equipment, besides
Navigation system, while driving.
