Watching DVD Video (WinDVD)
WinDVD is a software application for DVD playback.
Here you will find explanations and general information on precautions to take.
Refer to the online manual for the detailed use of the software application.

You can run WinDVD using either of the following procedures:

Double-click the
icon on the desktop
z
Click [start] - [All Programs] - [InterVideo WinDVD] - [InterVideo WinDVD]
CAUTION
z
Be sure that the DVD MULTI drive power is turned on before running WinDVD. Even if
the DVD MULTI drive indicator is lit after running WinDVD, the display of the Optical
Disc Drive Power-Saving utility may be set to [Off], and the drive cannot be used.
(This may happen when the drive power is off while the disk has been set). In this
case, shut down WinDVD, turn on the drive power, and then run WinDVD.
To play back DVD-Audio using WinDVD;
z
DVD-Audio cannot be played back on WinDVD.
Do not start WinDVD under the following conditions:
z
While the hard disk drive indicator
is blinking immediately after the computer is turned
on.
While WinDVD is running, do not perform the following:
z
Entering the standby or hibernation mode
z
Switching the display by pressing the
Fn
+
F3
key
