Operating Instructions.

First-time Operation
Supplied accessories
The Keyboard Base is not included in this computer.
Turning on the computer
1 Connect your computer to a power outlet.

Open the cover.

Connect your computer to a power outlet.
The battery charging starts automatically.
2 Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the power switch until the power indicator lights.
NOTE
Read the notice before using for this model. The following are not malfunctions.

You can set the following setting of the Setup Utility, but these settings are not applied for this
model.
•
[Keyboard Base and Port Replicator] in the “Advanced” menu
•
[Ejection HotKey] in the “Main” menu
•
[10-Key Mode] in the “Main” menu
•
[Concealed Mode Configuration] - [Trigger Key] in the “Main” menu
[Fn+F8] (default) is not applied for this model. To use trigger key, set to [A1 Button].

The following functions described in the Operating Instructions - Reference Manual do not apply
to this model.
