Concerning the installation location

Install the unit in a stable location which will not be susceptible to 

shaking. If the unit is installed in a location which is susceptible to 

shaking, this will cause the unit’s images to shake in turn.

Install the unit after conferring in detail with your dealer.

Install the unit on a ceiling that is strong enough (such as a concrete 

ceiling).

If the unit is to be installed on a ceiling which is not strong enough, 

reinforce the ceiling sufficiently first.

Through the adoption of the Direct Drive system and Panasonic 

proprietary technology, we have achieved quietness and high 

precision in panning and tilting.

In order to get the most from the characteristics of the Direct Drive 

system, install in a stable location that does not shake and that has 

sufficient stiffness. Shaking of the installation location can be the 

cause of performance deterioration and malfunctions in the camera.

If the camera is installed in a location with insufficient stiffness, 

the pan and tilt control characteristics may be adversely affected, 

leading to unstable operation.

• In environments such as the following, there may be unusual 

operation sounds during pan and tilt, and operational errors may 

occur.

If you are concerned about unstable pan and tilt operations after 

installation, please contact your dealer.
