Power supply

What is the power supply voltage supported by the supplied AC adaptor?

Can the supplied AC adaptor used while the battery is mounted?

It can be used. Supplying of the power is automatically switched to the AC adaptor side when the power is set to <l> (ON) and the AC adaptor is
connected while the battery is mounted.

The camera cannot be operated even when the power is set to <l> (ON).

Remove the power supply (the battery or the AC adaptor), and connect it again after approximately one minute.

The operation of the corresponding button or the switch is disabled when the <LOCK> switch on the camera is set to < >. Unlock if necessary.
Battery

The battery gets exhausted quickly, so is there any way to improve?

Charge the battery sufficiently.
f
The operating time becomes shorter in low temperature.

If the time is short after sufficient charging, the battery life has expired.

Can the battery that was used in the previous models used?

Battery charger

Can the previous battery charged with the supplied charger?

It can perform normal charging.

To perform quick charging, use the quick charging compatible battery. The camera is compatible to following quick charging compatible batteries.

SD card

Operation is not accepted even when an SD card is inserted into the card slot.

The SD card to be used on the camera should always be formatted on the camera.
The SD card formatted in a PC cannot be used in the camera.
Shooting

The shooting stops by itself, and cannot shoot.

When the recording format is set to MOV format, use the SDXC memory card. MOV format data cannot be recorded on the SDHC memory card.

Use the SD card with required Speed Class in accordance with the recording bit rate. (page 44)

Audio cannot be recorded.

Audio cannot be recorded in the following cases.

When the variable frame rate recording function is enabled, and the frame rate is set different from the system frequency

When audio cannot be recorded, is displayed in the HOME screen, and

Editing

Can the camera be connected to a computer (Windows/Mac) via USB?

The camera does not have an USB device terminal, so the camera cannot be connected to a PC via USB. Connect the commercially available SD
card reader to a PC, and copy the contents (data) directly from the SD card.
