TOOL -------
1. Press the “MENU button” pushing “HOLD button” and “LIGHT button” together so that “CAM SERVICE MENU”
screen appears on VF and VIDEO OUT.
2. Press the “JOG DIAL button” to select the “MAIN MENU” (Menu display is change like below)

3. Press “JOG DIAL button” to open the “MAIN MENU” screen.
4. Set the item “REC MODE” to 50M MODE referring following process.

→
REC MODE 4:3/50M (or 16:9/50M)
5. Next open the “VTR SERVICE MENU” screen.
6. Rotate the “JOG DIAL button” to select the item “VTR SERVICE 2/3” in “VTR SERVICE MENU” screen and
press the “JOG DIAL button” to open the “VTR SERVICE 2/3” menu screen.
7. Select item “X VALUE ADJ 50” rotating “JOG DIAL button”.
8. Insert the alignment tape to the VTR and set it to STOP mode(loading complete condition).
NOTE: This adjustment can not be done if VTR is set to Stand-by off mode.
9. Press the “JOG DIAL button” so that adjustment is start.
10. Press “STOP button” of VTR after numerical value is renewed.
11. Confirm that the compensation value is within the specification.
12. If it is out of SPEC., perform X-value Adjustment (item 1-18).
13. Set the item “REC MODE” to 25M MODE referring following process.

→
REC MODE 4:3/25M (or 16:9/25M)
14. Select item “X VALUE ADJ 25” in “VTR SERVICE 2/3” menu screen.
15. Set VTR to STOP mode(loading complete condition).
NOTE: This adjustment can not be done if VTR is set to Stand-by off mode.
16. Press the “JOG DIAL button” so that adjustment is start.
17. Press “STOP button” of VTR after numerical value is renewed.
18. Confirm that the compensation value is within the specification.
19. If it is out of SPEC., perform X-value Adjustment (item 1-18).
NOTE: The adjusted EVR data is not renewed if camera is turned off when it is in SERVICE MENU MODE.
