1. Set the Adjustment mode.
Adjustment mode setting procedure is mentioned on item “6. Table of Test Point for each adjustment item.”

2. Playback an X-value Alignment tape.
3. Confirm that the rising edge of CTL match with the front position of non-recorded portion of CUE. If not adjust
the Screw (F) to match both phase.
4. Confirm the non-recorded portion of envelope, and select the HSW to meet with it (L ch of tape with
non-recorded portion meets HSW high).
5. Adjust A/C Head Horizontal position so that the reference of HSW match with CTL trigger in the phase (t1). To
adjust X-value, loosen the screw (C) and (D), then adjust the hole (E) by VFK0357. After adjustment, tighten
the screw (C) and (D) with 24.6cN-m (2.5Kg) torque. At this time adjust the phase simultaneously with Azimuth
so that the CTL and CUE phase is kept.
6. Hit the top plate ( portion L as shown in figure ) of A/C Head lightly, then confirm the phase is not shifted finally.
7. Fix the screw by Lock Tight glue after the adjustment.
