<For STUDIO RECORDER>
1. Unscrew the 2 screws and remove the Carriage
Support Panel on the Front Loading Unit.
2. Disconnect the connector P3 on the Carriage
Board of the Front Loading Unit.
3. Unscrew the 6 screws and remove the Top Plate
on the Front Loading Unit as shown in figure
1-4-1.
<For CAMERA RECORDER>
Remove the Cassette Up Unit.
1. Set VFK1156 (black) at the position as shown in
figure 1-4-2.
2. Place the unit into the no tape loading mode. (No
tape loading procedure is mentioned on item “6.
Table of Test Point for each adjustment item.”).
Click this button , then go to item “6. Table of
Test Point for each adjustment item.”.
3. Confirm that the DC voltage at the test point is
within the specification (PLAY).
4. If it is out of spec, adjust the VR so that the DC
voltage is within the specification (PLAY).
5. Set VFK1156 (Silver) at the position as shown in
figure 1-4-2.
6. Place the unit into the no tape loading mode.
7. Confirm that the DC voltage at the test point is
within the specification.
8. If it is out of spec, perform the Tension Arm
Position Adjustment again.

<For STUDIO CAMERA RECORDER>
1. Unscrew the 2 screws and remove the Carriage
Support Panel on the Front Loading Unit.
2. Disconnect the connector P3 on the Carriage
Board of the Front Loading Unit.
3. Unscrew the 6 screws and remove the Top Plate
on the Front Loading Unit as shown in figure
1-4-1.
<For CAMERA RECORDER>
Remove the Cassette Up Unit.
<Adjustment Procedure>
1. Place the unit into no tape loading mode. (No
tape loading procedure is mentioned on item “6.
Table of Test Point for each adjustment item.”).
Click this button , then go to item “6. Table of
Test Point for each adjustment item.”.
2. Push the tension post to the direction R by the
tension gauge as shown in Figure 1-6 until the
voltage at the test point becomes 3.8V (If means
PLAY position).
3. Loosen the screw (C) and adjust the position of
hook (B) so that the indication (tension) of gauge
is within the specification.
Then fighten the screw (C) and reconfirm tension
is within the specification.
