Flash ROM software version up can be done via RS232C terminal.
SYS CTRL IC (IC600 ) decide which IC (SYSAV, DV, IF, SERVO) should be copied based on the command from
Personal computer (version up software).
This command is decided in "Software Select window" of VSI2312L Setup panel and sent to SYS CTRL IC
(IC600) via I/F ROM.
Hence if I/F ROM doesn't work well, (For example: AV software is copied to I/F ROM by mistake) the command
can not be sent to SYS CTRL IC so that Flash ROM software version up via RS232C terminal can not be made. (I/F
software is also impossible to copy via RS232C terminal)
In this case(If another software is copied to I/F ROM by mistake), Flash ROM software should be copied from
Personal computer to I/F ROM via the connector on the P.C.B using the flash memory version up tool (VFK1304A).
Following are the explanation to copy the flash ROM using VFK1304A.
