Set menu setting of SETUP menu as follows.

2. Open the SERVICE MENU. (Refer to SEC1
Service Information.)
3. Select
the
D00: VOUT ADJUST
and press the
“SET” button to open the VOUT ADJUST MENU.
4. Select
the
D-1: CMPNT ADJUST
and press the
“SET” button.
5. Play back the alignment tape at the Bow tie
portion (18:00-22:00).
6. Adjust
D06: NENT PB TMG
so that the crossing
point of the Bow tie signal becomes a center
(Timing=0
±
5nsec
) as shown bellow.

Set menu setting of SETUP menu as follows.

Incase of WFM does not have “Bow tie mode” (Y-Pb
timing adjustment mode), if the oscilloscope has
“ADD” and “INVERT” switch, it is possible to make the
following waveform by those switch.
