<Adjustment for DVCPRO25 mode>
1.
Set the Spectrum analyzer to REG2.(refer to Chart 3-5-2)
2.
Set the Service menu to DVCPRO25 REC ADJUST menu.
3.
Execute following adjustment for each head. (L1, L2, R1, R2)
4.
Confirm that the value of REC FREQ is set to
“0”
.
5.
Set the value of REC CURR to
“100”
.
6.
Insert the blank tape and place the unit to recording mode.
7.
Save the confidencial playback spectrum to Trace B.
8.
Decrease the value of RECCURR so that the confidencial playback spectrum meets the following SPEC. and
memorize this menu value (Value A).
The confidencial playback spectrum =TraceB - 5db ± 1db.
9. Add
“130”
to Value A. (This value will be the adjustment value of RECCURR.)
ex) If the value A is
“-67”
,
“-67+130=63”
will be the adjustment value of RECCURR.
10. Press the SET button.
11. Execute another head of adjustment too. (Each head (L1,L2,R1,R2) should be adjusted)
12. Set the
Q70: ERROR MODE
to SLOW and confirm that Error rate at confidencial playback mode meets the
SPEC.. (Refer to page ELE-18)
13. Set the Spectrum analyzer to REG4. (refer to Chart 3-5-3)
14. Record approximately one minute and play it back.
15. Confirm that error rate at selfrecording playback mode meets the SPEC.. (Refer to page ELE-18)
16. Save the selfrecording playback spectrum to Trace B.
17. Playback the DVCPRO alignment tape and save the spectrum to Trace A.
18. Make sure that the difference of the each level at 4MHZ portion between selfrecording playback spectrum
(Trace B) and playback spectrum (Trace A) meets the following SPEC..
The difference of the each level : 0db ± 2db
3-6. Storing Adjustment Data
Store the adjustment values for the following items after the adjustment is completed.
1.
Insert the DVCPRO alignment tape (VFM3580KM(L)).
2.
Open the Service Menu.
3. Open
B00: RF ADJUST
in the Service Menu.
4. Open
P00: DVCPRO 50M ADJUST
in the Service Menu.
5. Select
P-4: DEFAULT
in the Service Menu.
6. Select
SAVE
and press the SET button to save the 50M mode adjustment values.
7.
Press the MENU button to return to the RF ADJUST menu.
8. Open
Q00: DVCPRO 25M ADJUST
in the Service Menu.
9. Select
Q-4: DEFAULT
in the Service Menu.
10. Select
SAVE
and press the SET button to save the 25M mode adjustment values.
11. Press the MENU button to return to the RF ADJUST menu.
12. Open
R00: DV ADJUST
in the Service Menu.
13. Select
R-5: DEFAULT
in the Service Menu.
14. Select
SAVE
and press the SET button to save the DV mode adjustment values.
