To enter a password:
1.
Tap the Password field.
2.
Enter the password you use to log into your ISP or dial-in server.
3.
Tap OK.
NOTE
The Password field updates to display the word “Assigned.”
Selecting a connection
Use the Connection setting to select the method you want to use to connect to your
ISP or dial-in server. See
“Connection preferences” earlier in this chapter for
information about creating and configuring connection settings.
To select a connection:
1.
Tap the Connection pick list.
2.
Tap the connection you want to use.
Adding telephone settings
When you select the Phone field, your handheld opens a dialog box in which you
define the telephone number you use to connect with your ISP or dial-in server. In
addition, you can also define a prefix, disable Call Waiting, and give special
instructions for using a calling card.
