Using the Network Preferences screen
You can customize the following settings from the Network Preferences screen:

ISP settings
■
Palm WAP Browser settings
Customizing ISP settings
You have the option of changing the following settings on the Network Preferences
screen when connecting to the Internet with an ISP using your mobile phone as a
modem:
■
Login name and password
■
Phone number
■
Timeout setting
To change your login name/password:
1.
Tap the Applications icon

2.
Tap the Preferences icon
.
3.
Tap Network from the pick list in the upper-right corner of the screen.
4.
Do one or both of the following:
– To change login name: Enter new name in User Name field.
– To change password: Tap in Password box, enter new password, and tap OK.
To change phone number:
1.
Tap the Applications icon
.
2.
Tap the Preferences icon
.
3.
Tap Network from the pick list in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Enter new user name and password if, for
example, you are required to update user
name/password at regular intervals by your
system administrator
