Crane mounting
Before placing the crane on the pre-mounted crane base make sure that the flat surfaces of the individual
components are thoroughly cleaned and any weld notches, paint spots, fins and other uneven spots are
removed.
Crane support:
The base flanges must be even. This requires machine manufacturing. They have to be free of any dirt,
oil, grease and loose scales, fins or chippings. The evenness is to be compared with an ideal even
surface which is exactly vertical to the axle. The top of the base flanges must be free of any paint*,
grease, oil, and weld spots.
* In case of exceptions (coated surfaces) contact your Palfinger MARINE partner.
