Operating AQ Guard Ambient without
weatherproof housing

It is possible to operate the 

AQ Guard Ambient

 without the weatherproof

housing. However, the device has to be in a protected environment – not
outdoors.

When the weatherproof housing is not in place, the device’s screen is
directly accessible and operable.

Never operate the device without the sampling head screwed into place. The
sampling head prevents hot components of the drying section IADS from
being touched, thus protecting the operator from burns.

 CAUTION

Risk of burns from hot components

If the sampling head is not in place, hot components are accessible and
can cause burns when touched.

Operate the device only when the sampling head is in place.

The weatherproof housing may be removed only under the following
conditions:

• The device has to be switched off
• All cables have to be detached
• The device has to be cooled off
• The device has to located in a protected environment

Switching off device and disconnecting from power supply

Close the firmware by selecting 

Shut Down

Unplug the power cable and all other cables.
