SNMP P
ARAMETERS
The modem has an SNMP agent that allows it to be managed remotely by a Network
Management System (NMS). See
page 58 for more information about managing the modem
through SNMP.
1 Click System from the Main Menu .
2 Click SNMP Parameters on the System Menu .
3 Do the following:

Select Enable Trap Sending if you want the modem to send traps to a server on
your LAN.

Enter the
Trap Server IP Address
for the server to which the traps will be sent.

Enter the Trap Server Net Mask (subnet mask) for the server to which the traps will
be sent.
