Operating Instructions
Charging the battery pack
1. Before first use, ensure the battery pack is fully
charged.
2. The battery pack must be fully charged after
every use, even if it is not fully discharged.
3. If battery pack remains unused for long periods
of time, ensure the battery pack is removed
from storage to fully charge at least once every
4 months. As the battery pack ages, Pacvac
recommends charging at more regular intervals.
4. There is a power level indicator located at the
front of the battery pack which indicates the
amount of power left by pressing on to the
large button.
5. The battery pack can be charged at any time,
and does not need to be entirely discharged.
6. A battery pack lasts for approximately 500
cycles of charging.
7. Use the original battery charger only when
charging this battery.
8. You must remove the battery packs from the
machine to charge (switch the machine to the
OFF position before removing the batteries).
9. Ensure the machine and battery charger are on
a level surface with adequate ventilation.
10. Plug in battery charger power cord to power
supply (ensure power supply is switched OFF
when plugging in).
11. Switch ON power supply at the wall.
12. Turn your battery pack upside down and align
the guide rails. Gently slide into place (until you
hear a ‘click’).
13. See diagram below for location of the Light Emitting
Diode (LED) Indicator on the battery charger.
*If a flashing red/green light appears wait 30
minutes and check the battery charger again.
Keep the battery packs inserted in the battery
charger unit, as the battery charger will assist
in cooling the battery packs. If the flashing
red/green light persists please contact an
Authorised Pacvac Service and Warranty Agent
or contact
[email protected] for assistance.
Please note:
The battery will be fully charged in 2 hours, in
normal conditions.
14. Once fully charged, switch off the power supply
to the battery charger.
15. Remove the battery pack from the battery
charger by pressing both buttons on either
side of the battery and slide out of the battery
charger slot (see diagram below).
