Remove the LED PCB by removing the 4 nuts holding the LED PCB to the SCU front panel.
Remove the existing controller by removing the 2 nuts holding the UPC to the SCU front panel.
3.4
CONFIGURE UPC
The UPC TRANSFORMER RATIO and AMPS TO VOLTS RATIO must be configured to operate with the
Power Source. Setting the GPIB device address or SERIAL Interface parameters is optional depending on
whether the user intends to use the REMOTE interface.
3.4.1 CONFIGURE TRANSFORMER RATIO
NOTE:
Configuration is preset at the factory if the UPC is packaged with a power source.
Set the TRANSFORMER RATIO of the UPC to be the same as the turns ratio of the Output XFMR in the
Power Source. Refer to the Power Source Manual to determine the TRANSFORMER RATIO of the Power
Source. The ratio is set by the TRANSFORMER RATIO SWITCH on the UPC METERING PCB (
). The Dip-switches S2-8 and S1-1 thru S1-8 are binary weighted:
