Cement Board Installation

The front facing area of the FP30 must be covered with non-
combustible cement board as shown in Fig.#24 and #25 prior 
to applying any fi nishing material. 

The cement board can be attached to the framing and to the 
front of the unit outside of the dimensioned area shown by 
the dotted line in Fig.#24.

Use the manufactures suggested fasteners to attach the ce-
ment board and install as recommended.

Tape and mud the joints as per the board manufacturers 
recommendations.
