Operation
4.1
Warm up
The warm-up screen allows the sampling chamber to get to reach its optimal operating
temperature after the unit is powered on. Performing tests before the unit is warm can
introduce errors in your readings. When the sampling chamber is lower than 40°C it will
read slightly lower and will slowly increase until the target temperature is reached.
4.2
Common Buttons and Icons
In the top corners on every screen on the DPM-RT-2, two icons will be displayed, one to indicate the battery
voltage and the other to indicate the status of the
Sampling Chamber’s Heater
. When the heater is on and
currently heating the chamber, the icon in the top right-hand corner will go red, otherwise it will be grey.
On all screens except for the Main and Warm Up screens there will be either a
Cancel Button
and/or a
Submit Button
. If the
Cancel Button
is tapped, then all data entered in the current screen is discarded and
the screen is closed. If the
Submit Button
is tapped, then all data entered in the current screen is saved and
the screen is closed.
