Seat
For information on the features and adjustment of the seat,
see the seat manufacturer’s literature included with the ve-
hicle.
WARNING!
• Do not drive or ride with your seat back in
the reclined position. You could be injured
by sliding under the seat belts in a collision.
• Do not adjust the driver’s seat while the vehi-
cle is moving. The seat could move suddenly
and unexpectedly and can cause you to lose
control of the vehicle. Make all adjustments
to the seat while the vehicle is stopped. Af-
ter adjusting the seat and before driving off,
ensure that the seat is
fi
rmly latched in posi-
tion.
Seat Belts And Their Proper Use
Seat (or safety) belts have proven to be the single most
effective means available for reducing the risk of serious
injury and death in motor vehicle accidents. It’s not just an
opinion -- it’s a fact: Seat belts save lives.
WARNING! Do not drive vehicle without your
seat belt and your riders’ belt fastened. Rid-
ing without a safety belt properly fastened can
lead to increased injury or death in an emer-
gency. Unbelted riders could be thrown into the
windshield or other parts of the cab or could be
thrown out of the cab. They could strike another
person. Injuries can be much worse when rid-
ers are unbelted. Always fasten your seat belt.
