Loosen the motor and plate from the support plate as shown – use protective gloves
when carrying out this task.
5.
Fit a new motor to the support plate.
6.
Put the motor into position and ensure that it sits correctly on the support plate – use
protective gloves when carrying out this task.
7.
Re-fit the V-belt and adjust the tension.
8.
Tighten the screws.
9.
Re-fit the safety mesh guard.
Replacing the propeller assembly
1.
Ensure that power is disconnected.
2.
Ensure all moving parts have stopped moving before loosening the plastic clips and
removing the safety mesh guard.
3.
Loosen the screws and V-belt and remove them, as described in the previous
section.
4.
Remove the safety mesh guard.
5.
Loosen the propeller assembly. Use a 22 mm single-ended wrench.
6.
Remove the propeller assembly.
7.
Loosen the connection between the wheel unit and the propeller assembly. Fit a
new wheel unit.
8.
Re-fit the propeller assembly and tighten securely.
9.
Re-fit the safety mesh guard.
