Safety instructions
1.
Read and understand the user manual and all of the safety labels
before using or carrying out maintenance, adjustments or cleaning of
the three-point hitch woodchipper.
2.
Keep first aid equipment close by in case of accidents and know how
to use the first aid equipment.
3.
Keep a fire extinguisher close by in case of a fire and know how to use
it.
4.
Never permit any persons on the machine.
5.
Wear suitable personal protective equipment. Personal protective
equipment includes, but is not limited to:
−
Helmet.
−
Safety shoes with non-slip soles.
−
Safety goggles or safety visor.
−
Strong safety work gloves.
−
Suitable workwear.
−
Ear defenders.
−
Respiratory protective equipment or filter mask.
6.
Fit all safety guards before commencing.
7.
Wear suitable ear defenders in the case of long-term exposure to noise.
8.
Switch off the machine, stop and switch off the engine, remove the
ignition key and place it in the pocket, activate the parking brake and wait until all
moving parts have stopped moving, before carrying out servicing, adjustments, repairs
or dismantling.
9.
Clear the work area of all persons, especially young children, before starting any
machinery or equipment.
10.
Check safety parts every year together with all personnel who will use or maintain the
three-point hitched woodchipper.
