Storage
Aged fuel is one of major causes of engine starting failure. Before storing the unit,
empty the fuel tank and run the engine until it uses all the fuel left in the fuel line and
the carburetor. Store the unit indoor taking necessary measures for rust prevention.
1.
Clean the equipment.
2.
Oil the blade to prevent rust.
3.
Empty the fuel tank and put the cap back on.
4.
Remove the spark plug, pour a small amount of oil into the cylinder.
5.
Rotate the crankshaft several times using the starting rope to distribute the oil. Put the
spark plug back in.
6.
Store the trimmer indoors in a dry place, dust free place, out of the reach of children.
Transport
When carrying the hedge trimmer, put on the protective cover, lift the machine and be
careful with the blade.
Never transport the equipment in a vehicle over long distances in hard terrain without
emptying the tank of petrol that may or may not run out.
Disposal
The equipment must be disposed of in accordance with current local guidelines.
