Inspection of muffler
WARNING
•
Periodically inspect the muffler for loose fasteners, any damage or corrosion. If any
sign of exhaust leakage is found, do not use the brush cutter and have it repaired
immediately.
• Note that failing to do so may result in the engine catching on fire.

Fuel tank Wrong fuel. Empty the fuel tank and fill with
the correct fuel
Fuel filter The fuel filter is blocked Clean
Carburettor’s adjustment screw Carburettor wrongly adjusted Adjust
No spark The spark plug is dirty/wet
Electrode gap is wrong Clean/dry
Adjust to 0.6–0.7 mm
Spark plug Is loose Tighten securely
The engine starts but cuts out/is difficult to re-start
