Fitting and Preparation
Nozzle selection and fitting
1.
The vehicle undercarriage cleaner is supplied with a set of 25020 nozzles (25° and 2.0
hole).
a.
The smallest hole size that can be used is half the size of what is recommended
in the high-pressure cleaner. For example, if the high-pressure cleaner uses size
5, a size of 2.5 must be used in the vehicle undercarriage cleaner (there are two
nozzles in the vehicle undercarriage cleaner, therefore two nozzles x hole size
2.5 = hole size 5).
b.
The nozzles must have a spray pattern of 15–25°: A spray pattern less than 15°
can damage the area that is to be cleaned. Anything greater than 25° will not
cause the arm to rotate.
2.
The nozzles must be screwed to the rotary arm and the nozzle hole must be parallel to
the arm:
Fitting the vehicle undercarriage cleaner
1.
Align the holes in the handle’s bottom part with the holes in the spray casing.
2.
Insert the bolts through the holes in the handle and holes in the spray casing and fit
with the locking rings.
3.
Fit the top part of the handle at the aligned holes in the top and bottom part of the
handle. Insert the bolts through the holes and secure using locking rings.
4.
Secure the hose in the handle’s middle and connect the swivel joint on the spray
casing.
