Troubleshooting
Problem
Cause
Solution
The ATV does not operate.
The battery does not have
sufficient power.
Charge the battery. NB: The
battery must be charged for
at least 12 hours before
taking into use for the first
time and thereafter it must
be charged for 8 hours.
Check all connections and
tighten.
Check that the power socket
works.
The charger does not
function.
Use a voltmeter to check
whether the charger is
functioning – if required,
contact an electrician.
The ATV suddenly stops after
having operated for a short
time.
Loose cables or connections. Check all cables and
connections and tighten.
The fuse has blown.
The fuse will blow with
overloading and stop the
motor.
Overloading will cause the
motor to overheat. Replace
the fuse, cf. the instructions
and adjust the driving
conditions that are causing
the motor to overheat.
The motor or the electric
switch is damaged.
Contact a qualified
electrician.
Only operates for a short
period of time after charging
– less than 15 minutes.
The battery does not have
sufficient power.
