Transport
1.
Always switch off the engine during transport.
2.
Make sure the fuel cap is firmly attached and close the fuel cock to prevent leaks.
3.
If the machine is to be transported in a car, secure the machine so that it cannot move.
If the machine is to be transported over long distances, empty the petrol tank.
Storage
If the plate compactor must be stored for longer periods of time after operation,
follow this procedure:
A.
Drain the fuel completely from the tank, hoses, and carburettor.
B.
Pour a couple of drops of engine oil into the cylinder and remove the spark plug.
Manually turn the engine a couple of revolutions so that the cylinder becomes covered
in oil on the inside.
C.
Clean the machine’s exterior surfaces using a cloth that has been dipped in a little oil.
Cover the machine and store it in a dry place.
The machine must be stored clean and dry and out of the reach of children.
Disposal
When the machine is to be disposed of, it must be disassembled and the individual
parts must be disposed of according to current local guidelines.
