•
Do not bend or drive over the cable and protect it from sharp edges, oil and heat.
•
Do not lift the machine by the cable and do not use the cable for anything other than its
intended purpose.
•
Check cable and plug before use.
•
If the cable is damaged, unplug it immediately. Never use the machine with a faulty
power cable.
•
Unplug the machine when it is not in use.
•
Make sure the machine is switched off before connecting or disconnecting the power
cable.
•
Always unplug the power cable before transporting the machine.
Maintenance safety
•
Unplug the machine before performing any maintenance work.
•
Only carry out the maintenance tasks described here. All other tasks must be carried
out by a qualified professional.
•
Use only original spare parts. Only these parts are designed and suitable for the
machine. Non-original parts will not only invalidate the warranty, but may also
endanger the user and the environment.
Product safety
•
Do not expose the machine to rain and never use the machine in a wet environment.
•
Do not use the equipment in areas where there is an explosion hazard or in the vicinity
of flammable liquids or gases.
•
Do not aim a water jet directly at the machine or electrical components. Potentially
fatal electric shock hazard!
•
Lay the extension cable in such a way that it cannot come into contact with the water
to be pumped.
•
Do not start the machine if there are people or animals in the water to be pumped
(e.g. from a pool).
•
Never leave the machine unsupervised. Unplug the machine if it is left, even for a short
period.
•
As a general rule, repairs should only be carried out by an electrician. If repairs are
carried out incorrectly, there is a risk that liquid may penetrate into the electrical
components.
•
Do not remove or cover symbols on the machine. Information that is no more legible
must be replaced immediately.
