Tighten the propeller Nyloc-nut
(1)
to the specified torque.
Propeller nut tightening torque: 75.0 Nm (55 ft-lb).
6.
Align the propeller nut with the propeller shaft hole.
NOTE!
If the propeller nut does not align with the propeller shaft hole
after tightening to the specified torque, tighten the nut further to align it
with the hole.
7a.
Secure the locknut by bending the tabs up against the flats of the Nyloc-nut.
NOTE!
Some models use a castle nut and a cotter pin. Use washers as
required in order to align castle nut and cotterpin.
7b.
Insert a cotter pin

in the hole and bend the cotter pin ends securely.
8.
Ensure that the propeller is undamaged and rotates freely of the lower
housing.
