Important information for the products 3B1/3B1=ST
The functional scope of products with serial numbers SN 2015 25 XXX and higher, or products
that have been serviced or repaired by an authorised Ottobock Service Centre since June 2015,
has been extended.
Extended functional scope:
•
Switching to pre-configured MyModes and changing the prosthesis settings by using the
remote control or an app for smartphones (4X441 Cockpit) (see Page 75, see Page 85). If the
joint bears the marking "DUAL", the remote control cannot be used anymore (see next sec
tion).
•
Possibility of using an intentional stance function (see Page 80)
•
Displays of the current battery level without additional devices (see Page 74)
•
Deactivation of feedback and vibration signals (mute mode – see Page 88)
•
Stance, sitting, and stairs function can be switched off (see Page 85)
•
Bluetooth function can be switched off (see Page 87)

Remote control function only possible with version 1.0.0.6 or above
Please note that you can only use this knee joint and the updated one with the
4X350 remote
control in version 1.0.0.6 and higher

Therefore, check the version of the remote control as follows:

Please note that you need X-Soft 4X1 version 1.8 or higher in order to adjust this knee joint or
the updated one. If X-Soft version 1.0 or higher is available, it can be updated (Alignment)
