7.7 Push handles
The push handles make pushing the wheelchair easier for the attendant.
Some of the push handle designs allow the height to be adjusted to suit the needs of the attendant.
7.7.1 Adjusting the height of the push handles
To enable ergonomic pushing by the attendant, the wheelchair can be equipped with height-adjustable push
handles.
1) Release the clamping lever.
2) Adjust the height of the push handle.
INFORMATION: Adjust both push handles to the same height.
3) Engage the clamping lever.

7.7.2 Removing the push handles
Push handles of the “height-adjustable, removable” type can be removed from the back support tube when
needed.
Removing/installing the push handles
1) Release the clamping lever (see fig. 34, item 1).
2) Push in the tripod spring (see fig. 34, item 2) and pull the push handle up and out of the adapter (see fig. 34,
item 3).
3) To install, push in the tripod spring again and insert the push handle into the adapter.
4) Firmly close the clamping lever (see fig. 34, item 1).
