Enabling/activating the brake
1) Push the brake release lever (see Fig. 15, arrow) up
until the brake release bolts engage.
2) Turn the control unit off and on again.

6.7 Batteries/charging process
6.7.1 Safety Instructions

Damage to the battery due to user error

Replacing the battery or modifying the battery installa
tion position may only be performed by qualified per
sonnel trained by the manufacturer.

The charging profile of the battery charger established
at the factory matches the batteries included in the
scope of delivery and may not be altered independ
ently.
6.7.2 General
The standard version of the power wheelchair is equipped
with two maintenance-free gel batteries with a total capacity
of
63 Ah (C5)
.
The power wheelchair can optionally be equipped with two
AGM batteries with a total capacity of
63 Ah (C5)
.
The batteries are located beneath the wheelchair seat in a
battery drawer. If the power wheelchair is not equipped with
a drive wheel suspension, then the batteries are located in a
tray.
Prolonged driving at the lower end of the battery indicator
results in deep discharge which causes battery damage. If
the power wheelchair is being driven when the battery is low
the control unit switches to creep speed to save power.
6.7.3 Battery charging information
The range of the power wheelchair is determined by the bat
tery capacity. The battery capacity is influenced by many
