These instructions for use provide you with important information on the use, adaptation and
handling of the product.
Instruct the patient in the proper use and care of the product. The product may not be transferred
to the patient without prior instruction.
Only put the product into use in accordance with the information contained in the accompanying
documents supplied.
2 Product Description
2.1 Function
The adapter allows for the analogue Ottobock hand systems to be controlled in combination with
the DynamicArm. The digital signal of the DynamicArm is converted to an analogue signal by the
adapter.
2.2 Combination Possibilities
The product is intended for use with Myo system hands.

3 Application
3.1 Intended Use
The product is to be used solely for upper limb prosthetic fittings.
3.2 Area of Application
The prosthesis is intended
exclusively
for use on
one
patient. Use of the product by another per
son is not approved by the manufacturer.
3.3 Conditions of use
The product has been developed for use in everyday activities. It must not be used for activities
where it would be exposed to unallowable environmental conditions or strains (e.g. extreme
sports).
3.4 Qualification
Fitting a patient with the product may only be carried out by orthopaedic technicians who have
been authorised by Ottobock after completion of a corresponding training course.
