LAMP ASSEMBLY

WARNING: 

To prevent electric shock, make sure the lamp is not 

plugged in until all assembly steps are complete.

This lamp includes an OttLite

®

 Natural Daylight LED Bulb.

1. 

Unpack all lamp parts and lay out on the floor with base (A)  
laying flat.

2. 

Thread pole (B) to base (A) by hand turning clockwise until tight.

3. 

Thread upper pole (C) to lower pole (B) by hand turning 
clockwise until tight.

4. 

Thread arm (D) into upper pole (C) by hand turning clockwise 
until tight.  Pull excess cord along poles (B, C, D) and secure 
within rubber rings (L).

5. 

Attach shades (G) to socket housings (H) using socket rings (J) 
to hold the shades in place.

6. 

Thread socket rings (J) onto sockets by hand turning clockwise 
until tight enough to hold the shades steady.

7. 

Refer to BULB INSERTION/REMOVAL to install bulbs (K) in lamp.

8. 

Plug the cord (D) into a standard 120V AC outlet.

9. 

To turn the lamp 

ON

 or 

OFF

 press the switch (C).

10. 

To adjust the direction of shades (G), grasp near socket housings 
(H) and move the shades UP or DOWN until it reaches a stop.  

DO NOT

 force the shade into any position as damage may occur. 

CAUTION: 

As part of lamp design, there are three rubber rings (L) used 

on poles (B, C, D) to keep cord (F) secured and to prevent tipping.

BULB INSERTION/REMOVAL

1. 

Make sure that the lamp is not plugged into an electrical socket.

2. 

If the lamp has been in use, allow it to cool approximately 5 
minutes before proceeding.

3. 

To install a bulb (K) in the socket, thread the base of the bulb into 
the socket turning clockwise until snug. 

CAUTION: DO NOT overtighten the bulb. Overtightening the 
bulb may make removal difficult or damage the lamp or bulb.

4. 

To remove a bulb (K) already installed in the lamp, unthread the 
bulb from the socket turning counterclockwise to loosen.

1. Turn off/unplug and WAIT UNTIL BULB IS COOL before handling.
2. Bulb gets hot quickly! Touch only switch/plug when turning  

ON

 or 

OFF

3. Never use with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully 

inserted into the receptacles in the extension cord.

4. Do not alter the plug.

ONE WAY. IF THE PLUG DOES NOT FIT FULLY IN THE OUTLET, REVERSE THE PLUG. IF
