Calibration
The Otoport is a precision instrument designed to make accurate
measurements of OAE and ABR responses. Before it leaves Otodynamics,
each system supplied is calibrated using high quality acoustic measuring
equipment traceable to national standards.
Users should conduct the recommended weekly checks (see section
20.2
) to ensure the instrument is working correctly. In addition to this, the
calibration of the instrument should be periodically checked with laboratory
equipment. Otodynamics advises regular calibration checks at intervals not
exceeding 3 years and ideally annually.

date has been set (see section

). A prompt when turning on will
warn that calibration is due from 30 days before the due date.
Contact your dealer or Otodynamics to arrange a calibration check.
