Filter
The safety switches must be switched off and locked after the unit has been switched off
before starting any service work.
Function
The filter prevents dust and dirt from entering the unit and into the supply air. The
function of the filter is therefore important for the service life of the unit, as well as for
economic and occupational safety reasons.
Check
1. If the filter needs to be replaced. H. Östberg AB recommends changing the filter at
least two times a year.
2. If the filter case is dirty.
3. That the filter lock is functioning properly.
4. That the filter seal strip is intact.
Corrective action
1. Remove the filter by pulling the handle for the two filter rails. Pull out the filter
carefully to prevent dust and dirt from coming loose.
2. Vacuum the area around the filter if needed and/or wipe with a damp cloth with a few
drops of dish detergent. Never use solvent to clean the unit.
3. Grease the eccentric washers if needed. These should move easily.
4. Replace the filter seal strip if it is damaged or has been dislodged.
