Warning: Disconnect all external cables (Video, Power
and Serial cable) from AllSky unit before proceeding
Step 1 – Removal of Dome Bubble
To remove Dome Bubble use the AllSky Tamper Proof Allen
key to unscrew the four vandal-proof screws on the top of the
StarShoot AllSky Camera (SASC). Be careful not to hit the
acrylic dome with the allen key, screws or other hard objects.
Also be careful not to lose the non standard Tamper-proof
allen key.
Carefully lift the dome cover directly upwards from the base
and place in a safe location. Be careful not to touch the lens
to avoid having to clean it. (Cleaning supplies sold separately
by Orion.)

Step 2 – Removal of the RS-232 Circuit Board
If model is AllSky Version I (no computer control) proceed to
step 3. If model is AllSky Version II (with computer control)
remove the two screws and washers holding the small circuit
board in place (
Figure 2).

Step 3 – Removal of the Camera Bracket
from Base
Using a Philips head screwdriver unscrew the four screws that
attach the camera bracket to the base unit in order to gain
access to the camera (
