6.1 OPERATING THE TOOL
– Place strap round goods to be packaged, so that
the straps lie one above the other on top of
package. The beginning of the strap is underneath.
Hold the straps with the left hand so that the strap
beginning is approximately 30 cm (11“) ahead of the
hand.
– Hold the handle of the tool in the right hand and
raise the tension motor up to the stop.
– Move the tool towards the straps up to the stop.
The beginning of the strap projects approx. 5 cm
(2“) outside the front of the tool.
– Release the tension motor.
The straps are now clamped and inserted in
the
tool.

Tensioning
– Press the green button completely down with
the thumb of the right hand. Release green button.
The strap is tensioned until the air motor stops.
The tensioning force can be in
fi
nitely adju-
sted
(see
chapter
7.1).
If the strap alignment is unsatisfactory or the tool
needs to be removed before sealing. First, move the
red tension release latch to the left to disengage the
tension motor anr remove the tool.
