OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The Orbital Systems, Ltd. LRD-200B demodulator provides several configurable parameter
options. These options enable the user to set up the demodulator for the particular system
used. These parameters can be set, modified, and reviewed using the following two (2)
methods:
1.
Use the setup buttons and the operational display on the unit.
2.
Use a comprehensive remote control command set that can access the demodulator
through a serial connection (telnet optional). Several parameters are static, and they
are configured to correspond to the system application for which the LRD-200B is
used. Other parameters are dynamic, and they require modifications to receive data
from different satellites. The LRD-200B configuration parameters are shown in Table

This setting is used to set the signal
frequency to demodulate. If input
0
is
selected, the difference between the
receive frequency and the offset
frequency must be between 126 MHz
and 154 MHz. If input
1
is selected, the
frequency is fixed at 140 MHz or 70
MHz.
