SECTION 3 

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 

The Orbital Systems, Ltd. LRD-200B demodulator provides several  configurable parameter 
options. These options enable the user to set  up the demodulator for the  particular  system 
used.  These  parameters  can be set, modified,  and reviewed  using the following two (2) 
methods:  

 

1.

 

Use the setup buttons and the operational display on the unit. 

 

2.

 

Use a comprehensive remote control command set that can access the demodulator 
through a serial connection (telnet optional). Several parameters are static, and they 
are configured to correspond to the system application for which the LRD-200B is 
used. Other parameters are dynamic, and they require modifications to receive data 
from different satellites. The LRD-200B configuration parameters are shown in Table

receive frequency and the offset 
frequency must be between 126 MHz
