c) Give your 8600S a name (e.g., “KABC”)
by entering this name in the “8600S
Alias” field.
d) If you wish to have 8600S PC Remote
remember the password for this
Optimod, enter the password in the
“Password“ field.
e) Select “Serial Connection.”
f) Click the “Add” button.
g) Choose “Connect directly to another
computer.”
h) Click “Next.”
i) In the drop-down box, select the serial
port you will be using to make the
connection.
j) Click “Next.”
