As shown in the preceding figure, each CPU has a bank of DIMM channels associated with it.

There are three channels per CPU with each channel containing three color-coded DIMM slots

(black, white, and blue). The nine DIMM slots per CPU are numbered from D0 to D8, where

D8 is the slot farthest slot from the CPU.

Use the fault remind button to locate faulty DIMMs.

Note -

You must remove the media bay assembly before installing or replacing DIMMs in slots

D4 through D8 adjacent to CPU P0.
