Look here if SunVTS software appears to be acting strangely, especially

when it starts up.

1.10 Obtaining the Chassis Serial Number

To obtain support for your system, you need your chassis serial number. The chassis serial

number is located on a sticker that is on the front of the server and another sticker on the side
of the server. You can also run the ALOM CMT CLI 

showplatform

 command to obtain the

chassis serial number.
