9. P.A. MANAGER SOFTWARE. START-UP AND SETTING OF
SURVEILLANCE
When the unit is started in the installation, it is necessary to have a PC connected to the SU-114N, either
through SWITCH, or through a crossed network cable.
The PC must have the PA Manager software installed (version SCF-01 or SCM-01).
Once the SU-114N has been set, if a reset is required, this can be done on the front keypad (see section
11).
PLEASE NOTE the following, before proceeding to set the SU-114N:
Make sure that the impedance of the loudspeaker line is appropriate to the load. Once the loudspeaker
lines have been checked, connect them to their corresponding amplifier.
In installations with critical path surveillance, connect and power up the MD-500EM microphone desk.
PROCEDURE:
1. Open the PA Manager software. On the installations screen, add the SU-114N to the installation.
2. Configure the configuration parameters of the SU-114N. These are divided into three sections:
General
: The general parameters of the SU-114N can be configured here (see section 9.1).
Card Configuration
: Each of the SU-114N slots can be set with the corresponding amplifier (see
section 9.2).
Speaker’s Line Scheduler
: Options for creating weekly surveillance scheduling (see section 9.3).
3. Send the configurations to the unit (see section 9.4).
