PREVENTIVE MEASURES!

Switch off the automatic feed of the lathe saddle about 4 or 5 mm before the turret stop.

4.18.1 Straight turning



Switch on the feed rod (1).

INFORMATION

The feed rod drive can only be switched on if the gearbox levers are in the right position. By
switching on the drive, the magnetic coupling of the feed rod is closed and the feed motor
turned on.



Place the feed direction control handle (2) situated on the headstock in the left-side feed
position.



Select and set the feed (3).



Place the turning / thread-cutting selection lever (4) on the swivel gear drive to the "turning"
position.
