ATTENTION!
Properly performed regular maintenance is an essential prerequisite for
operational safety,
failure-free operation,
long durability of the grinding machine and
the quality of the products which you manufacture.
Installations and equipment from other manufacturers must also be in good order and condition.
4.1
Safety
WARNING!
The consequences of incorrect maintenance and repair work may include:
Very serious injury to personnel working on the grinding machine,
Damage to the grinding machine.
Only qualified staff should carry out maintenance and repair work on the grinding machine.
4.1.1
Preparation
WARNING!
Only carry out work on the grinding machine, if it has been disconnected of the power supply.
4.2
Inspection and maintenance
INFORMATION
The bearing is lifetime-lubricated. It is not necessary to lubricate it again.
WARNING!
Grinding wheels has to be replaced when the distance between external diameter of the grinding
wheel and the completely readjusted workpiece support is too great.
4.3
Replacing a grinding wheel
Disassemble the protective cover of the grinding wheel.
Loosen the shaft nut.
Use the counter-stop on the drive shaft to release the shaft nut. Pay attention to the correct direction to
loosen the nut.
Pull off the grinding wheel and the retaining washer from the shaft by hand.
