1. Functions
1) The Surge Protection Adaptor protects your equipment against damage due to power disturbances,
such as surges and spikes. It helps to extend your equipment’s service life
2) The Adaptor is ideal to use with computer system, home cinema system, television, telephone and
fax machine.
3) Equipped with 1 high quality varistor, 1 thermal fuse and 1 gas discharge tube for protection
4) Equipped with red “power” and green “protected” indicator showing power and protection status
respectively.
2. Connection
1) Switch off all appliances before connection.
2) Connect the power cord from your electrical appliances, eg. Computer / TV / VCR, etc. to the
Adaptor. Then connect the Adaptor to the AC socket to get power.
3) Both red and green indicators will turn on to indicate the power is well connected and protection is in
function.
3. Caution
All appliances you plug into the Adaptor must be of the same voltage and frequency ratings as in
“Specifications”
