CAUTION
・ Insert the cable surely and then fix it using cable retaining screws to prevent coming off.
・ Be sure to tighten the cable retaining screws at a tightening torque of 0. 1 N ･ m or less.
■ LAN Cable
Connect the LAN IN and LAN OUT terminals using the LAN cable ( 3/ 10 m) for communication specified by Ono
Sokki. The following shows the LAN cables specified by Ono Sokki for DS
- 5000.

7. 3. 2 Hardware - to - Hardware Connection Procedure
According to the following procedure, connect the units of DS - 5100 Main Unit by connecting the cables between
OUTs and INs for the LAN connector and the SYNC connector for synchronization. In this example, five units are
connected.
① Connect the LAN cable for communication between a personal computer and the IN side of LAN connector on
the first DS
- 5100 Main Unit.
② Connect the LAN cable for communication between the OUT side of LAN connector on the first unit and the IN
side of LAN connector on the second unit.
③ Connect the hardware connection cable AX - 9055/ 9056 between the OUT side of SYNC connector on the first
unit and the IN side of SYNC connector on the second unit.
④ Connect the LAN cable and the hardware connection cable for the second and subsequent units in the same
manner.
